Getting Here & Parking

Western Private Hospital is located in Footscray. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD and a 30 minute drive from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

Location

Western Private Hospital has two buildings, connected by a walkway.

Our main building and Reception is located at 1-9 Marion Street.

Our newest building is at 44 Eleanor Street.  Consulting suites are located here, on the ground floor.

Eleanor Street connects up with Ballarat Road to the North and Barkly Street to the South.

By Public Transport

If you are travelling to the hospital by Public Transport, using the Public Transport Victoria website is a great way to plan your trip.

Train Services

West Footscray Station is around a 10-15 minute walk to the hospital.

Footscray Station interconnects with trams, buses and taxis which can get you to Western Private Hospital.

There are multiple bus routes that service Western Private Hospital.

Route 410 – Sunshine – Footscray via Ballarat Road

Route 216 – Caroline Springs – Brighton Beach

Route 219 – Caroline Springs – Gardenvale

Parking

There is ample parking surrounding the hospital.

Metered parking is available in the surrounding streets, managed by City of Maribrynong. Check signs for ticketing and parking conditions.

A ticketed all-day car park is located at the back of the Hospital. The entrance is located on the side of the hospital, on Eleanor Street.

The ticket machines accept coins only. Alternatively, you can download the Easypark app to your smartphone and follow the instructions to pay via credit card.
